Jerome Daksiewicz is a multi-disciplinary designer working and living in Chicago, Illinois.

With 15 years experience as an architect, environmental, graphic and web designer, Jerome has worked on a wide range of award-winning projects throughout the United States, with budgets ranging from $0 to $200 million.

Before working as a freelance designer, Jerome was a Senior Designer with Omniplan Architects for seven years; involved with concept, planning, design, presentation and visualization, construction documentation; signage and wayfinding design, amenities selection, tenant criteria manual development and photography. Most recently he has completed full identity and web design for the Black Swan Saloon in Dallas, Texas; Furnishings and Finishes Web Application for Northwestern Memorial Hospital and User Interface design for Sidelinestar.com and Beaker.com.

Jerome’s passion and energy for design is evidenced in thoroughly exploring and understanding the uniqueness of each project; crafting opportunities in simplicity, proportion, fluidity, detail and thoughtful user experience. With all projects, the ordinary, intuitive, accidental and discovered are embraced equally alongside bad ideas and failures. Jerome received both Bachelors of Architecture and a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Design from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana in 2000.

Jerome also continues to work with friends, artists and other designers through multiple collaborations completing fabrications, design competitions, installations, books, website and graphic design projects.
